First and Goal, a highly interactive interactive relationship focus group and seminar series, will debut in Jacksonville Florida on Monday, May 4th. The host for the event is New Covenant Ministries at 2360 Saint Johns Bluff Rd S.

First and Goal, is the newest creation of Mama E’s Estella Keese, relationship coach. Keese acknowledges, “Relationships are under stress more than ever during the current economic and social crisis being experienced on a world-wide level”

“First and Goal provides a fun and uniquely interactive forum for talking about relationships. We use football concepts. For example, The “coach” has access to both the playbook and the quarterback’s earpiece. He is responsible for evaluating the situation and making the best decisions”

Keese continues, “I think this is an important position for the husband to fill in a relationship. As head of the family, he must get directions from God to ensure a successful outcome of the relationship. Some of the practice sessions we share are absolutely hilarious, and transformational”

Sponsored by In Him Ministries Inc, a Florida based non profit organization that supports marriage and relationship coaching, the First and Goal seminars are off to an amazingly successful start.

Keese keeps busy with her blogs, MamaEAnswers.com and AskMamaE.blogspot.com. Also an author, Mama E is currently writing, “What’s Love Got To Do With It” which may evolve into a play.

Her take on this is, “I believe the First and Goal seminars will provide the basis for the weekend retreat series I’m planning for late summer and early fall. Relationships need this support and are responding enthusiastically”

Mama E is now booking her schedule for speaking engagements four weeks in advance. Program planners and others can call 888-417-6680 for information and to schedule Mama E to speak at your event.

Jacksonville, Florida – Carmen Alicea and Jose Perez’s family and friends are still shocked at how quickly lives can be flipped around a totally unexpected direction.

Prior to the evening of January 19th, Carmen and Jose were both hard working heads of household and loving grandparents. Both were well respected by their neighbors and friends.

All that changed when a drunken driver crossed the highway and ran full speed into their pickup truck. The force of impact was enough to move the brake pedal and accelerator into the driver’s seat.

Fortunately Carmen and Jose survived, however they are now immersed in the struggle of their lives, trying to rebuild their bodies which were literally shattered in the accident.

Both have lost their jobs due to the extremely long recovery period necessary for them to heal. Their daughter had to quit her job in order to take her mother back and forth to doctor’s appointments and therapy. Jose remains hospitalized and faces a very long recovery.

Family and friends are sponsoring a Benefit Concert Saturday May 24th, to raise much needed money to help the couple and their daughter with day to day living expenses. Admission is a $10 donation and the event will be held from 4pm to 8pm at the Morocco Shrine Temple on St. Johns Bluff in Jacksonville Florida.

Benefit preparations are rapidly building momentum. Entertainers and groups who are kind enough to volunteer their services are coming forward, however, more volunteers are needed. Margaret Resch is the sponsor and can be readhed at 904-434-1647.

According to a volunteer who asked to remain anonymous, “It was the worst accident I’ve ever seen, but I’m thrilled to see how everybody is pulling together to try to help Ms Carmen and Jose.”
